PUBG Mobile India launch was briefly teased on YouTube. A six-second video teaser was posted on YouTube but it was shortly taken down. This teaser comes amid PUBG Mobile India expected to launch in India soon. The wait has actually been quite long with the mobile game announced to launch back in November last year.
The teaser didn’t reveal anything except teased the arrival of PUBG Mobile India as “coming soon”. The video was quickly removed but some eager fans managed to grab screenshots of the teaser. PUBG Mobile India recently received the go ahead from the Indian government hinting at the game’s imminent launch. PUBG Mobile was banned along with other Chinese apps last year. PUBG Corporation and Krafton later announced it will launch PUBG Mobile India that’s tailor made for the Indian market.
The launch announcement was made with much fanfare with a dedicated website, and teaser videos that followed. Since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the PUBG Mobile India launch but were left disappointed multiple times. Other than security issues being the reason behind the government’s decision to ban PUBG Mobile, the game has time and again received backlash for its violent content.
PUBG Mobile India in-game content will be improved and tailored to reflect local needs while various aspects of the game will be customised for Indian gamers. This includes the game now being set in a virtual simulation training ground, new characters automatically starting clothed, and green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game. Also, the company will include a feature that places restrictions on game time to promote healthy gameplay habits for younger players.
Recently, multiple job listings for PUBG Mobile India were also spotted on LinkedIN. But the company is yet to announce an official launch date for PUBG Mobile India.
